Myspace Comments : International Youth Day

Youngsters gathered in Vienna, Austria in 1991 with the idea of International Youth Day for the first session of the World Youth Forum of the United Nations System. The Forum recommended to declare an International Youth Day on 12th of August each year for fund-raising and promotional purposes for supporting the United Nations Youth Fund jointly with youth organizations.
