Hey folks --- how have you been? Here's a story about Canadian Thanksgiving that I learned from some source and really keen to share it with you. The history of Canadian Thanksgiving spans back to an English explorer, Martin Frobisher, who tried to explore out the northern passage to the Orient. In spite of his failings in finding out a passage out there he could mark a name of himself by establishing a settlement in Northern America. Later in 1587 Frobisher held a formal ceremony (in what is now known as Newfoundland) to show his whole hearted thankfulness for surviving the long journey. This was the first Thanksgiving celebration in Canada that is being celebrated on the second Monday in October
